Where are you going to turn?
On my way home from school today I was following behind a car that refused to use it's turn signals. Not using your turn signals is my biggest pet peeve. It is so easy to use, requires very little physical strength, and it helps other drivers immensely, yet some people fail to realize this and they go about their way confusing drivers in their paths. This especially annoys me at stop signs. Some of the time I assume the person driving on the other side is going straight because they do not utilize their turn signals so I continue driving straight only to get honked at, in my opinion because of the other person's incompetence. It is also very annoying if someone is switching lanes in the highway and they don't signal. Many a time these un-signaled lane changes cause me to hit the brakes and react on a whim rather than be prepared for their lane change. This is why one of my favorite scenes is the scene in Shoot 'em Up when Clive Owen owns someone who doesn't use their turn signal. On a somewhat unrelated not it is also annoying when people in the left lane are going slow. The left lane is the fast lane, and if you cannot keep up with it's speed the get in the right lane with the people going the speed limit. On my way to pick my dad up from O'Hare a couple weeks ago I was driving along Willow near Pfigsten and the speed limit was 40 mph and there were two lanes of traffic. I was in the left lane and the driver ahead of me was going about 42 mph as was the guy directly to his right, leaving me boxed behind these two slow drivers. I gave him a friendly honk or two to get his attention to either pick up the pace or change lanes. The driver refused to do either so I began laying on the horn to get my point across. Finally I began cruising on the 2-94 and no longer had to worry about slow drivers.
Poronography Properly Protected?

I believe that store owners should have a right to sell pornographic material. When it is sold in general stores or convenient stores such as 7-11 according to my own experiences always set apart from the rest of the store. They also a vast majority of the time have something covering the magazine cover. At 7-11 they keep the adult section behind the counter with these covers in front. I do not think that this provides an unsafe environment for children because firstly young children won't even be able to see over the counter. Secondly they won't see anything other than a woman's face which could be a magazine about anything. I don't think this should be any mother's pet peeve. If you go to any store you can surely see the cosmopolitan magazine, with highly suggestive articles advertised on the cover. For example as I searched google images for Cosmo's covers which included articles "69 surprising ways to make him hot for YOU forever" and "Naughty sex tricks" to name a few. Any child could openly read this magazine and see these adult orientated articles yet they aren't hidden or specially placed. I think it is quite the double standard because the way that pornographic material is covered it is much less suggestive to see the covered pornographic magazine than to read the cover of Cosmo.
Fantastic Fifa

Last week I was extremely eager for EA's Fifa 09 release date. I began playing Fifa 08 at a friend's house and immediently was addicted. I loved to play with Nigera, which is the fastest team in the game although only 4 1/2 stars out of 5 overall. Initially I was disappointed that Nigeria was not included in this latest installmentl, being one of two international teams excluded however I found a filler with AC Milan from Italy's Serie A. They most notably have Ronaldinho, one of the most famous soccer players. The game boasts over 250 improvements from 08 says designer David rutter. You know have weather options such as snow or rain and you can also choose the time of day for the match. One cool thing I like is that if you start the match at dusk by the end of the match it will be night, adding to the realism. Also EA revamped the collision system which takes players' strength and size into account. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes strategy games. There are many different ways to customize your team's style of play so you have a choice on how you want your offense and defense to be run.
Ebay is Emazing
Recently on my way home from school on the shuttle bus I began a conversation with a friend about his sick belt buckle. I asked him where he had purchased it and he cooly responded that he had found it on ebay, and they're mad cheap. He offered to buy me one if I paid him however much it costs. When I went home however I became so awed by this website I decided I should create my own account so I can buy neat stuff freely. Now I am an active ebayer and buy many things that are neat, however I haven't yet started selling things. For now I am content with buying clothes, accessories and games. I would recommend to anyone to make an ebay account so you can also buy cool stuff. It's a goldmine. Sheff, you best ain't be talking.
